Re: Bwahahahahahahahha

Nice to see a lot of gear in the hands of someone who got the will and ability to use it. I have never seen that site before, interesting stuff. I wish more "gatherers" could be as open about their gear as this guy.

6fingers. You like to bwahahaha. I wonder if you would do the same if you had the choice. I think you would. I think most of us would.

I just saw that site but I didn't look at all that stuff so I don't know what you mean with if I would. One thing I know,I'd never spent so much money with things like gear, cars, houses whatever,I really prefer travelling all around the world and learning different languages and cultures,to me this is the best money can buy besides health. So yes I WOULD LOVE to travel all around the world!

Re: Bwahahahahahahahha

What the hell?

I'd personally hate to have that much stuff. I would never want have more than 10 guitars, several amps (no more than 3-5), maybe a boxful of pedals and the ability to make passable recordings.
Nobody should have that much disposable income.

His retirement fund is probably whatever his gear sells on e-bay.

Red face Re: Bwahahahahahahahha

That's totally me all the way!
I have 2 main music rooms in the house, my son utilizes one with a digital piano, drumset (mic'd up of course), his violin stuff, Crate guitar rig and several percussion pieces (congas, bell kits), and my old recording computer with 16 channel Carvin board. My main room with my computer (sonar 8 prod), Hartke bass rig, several guitar rigs (Crate, Line 6, Marshall), a CD/stereo recording rack, Korg keyboard, Peavey TLS 5's, EV SX15"s, asorted rack gear and power amps (stuff I'm not using yet), a bookcase full of parts and odd accessories, music books, and my fathers' Saxophone. My bedroom houses my live PA rig (Behringer 8channel powered mixer, rack tuner and other assorted effect stuff, wireless systems, Peavey TLS 2's) as I like to practice in there (solo singer guitarist stuff), plastic tubs organized for all my extra wires and cables, 2 SKB mic boxes (overfilled), all my guitars (30, some in my closet and some on the wall all in hard cases). And now my 6 year old daughter just started taking piano so I went out and got her an 88 weighted key digital piano, and put it in her bedroom. My 4 year old daughter has a mini drum set and congas in her room...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA...I'm going to take over Scranton, and then the world with the help of my children!!!

It does help having a 10,000 sq ft house with 10 bedrooms though...definitely my advice for gear freaks is to have a big enough house!!!

That's what I say. As long as you can afford your stuff, have a place to keep it, and the bills are paid! I have a buddy who's a car freak, and he has like 7 cars, that he's put big money into. They are very nice ones too. I don't get that though, because I don't really like automotive stuff, and he feels the same way about my gear. People are funny that way...
