A friend of mine is purchasing a guitar on my behalf in NZ. The guitar will be shipped to them locally and then they will ship it to me in the UK.
The guitar was built in 2011 and has a rosewood fretboard.
I am aware that the CITES guidance is being updated but can I check whether they would need to obtain an export permit for a single guitar only? Also does anyone have any idea of timescales in NZ for this and also whether I would need an import permit in the UK to receive this?
Or am I just barking up the wrong tree for one guitar?
Many thanks.
