Current temperature - awesome

So i was FREEZING in the -10 degree weather in NY and the incoming snowstorm, so we said f' it and headed for the Bahamas. Currently there right now, it's like 78 degrees and absolutely beautiful. The band at my hotel had a guitar player with an old S Series, made me think of the forum . I hope you guys are staying warm wherever you are, I will soon be back in the chilly states with ya.

Re: Current temperature - awesome

A coworker of mine often speaks to people on the phone, seemingly joyously sometimes, that it's "80 degrees and sunny" down here. I often envision the poor sod on the other end as being prone on the ground while my coworker kicks their freezing butts with every word.
"You hear <kick> that?!?<kick> It's eighty <kick> f$%#ing <kick> degrees here! <kick>"
He's from up north. I'm a native.
Sorry to you folks up north in the cold.

Re: Current temperature - awesome

I'm in Australia, so it should be nice and warm this time of year. Unfortunately we've had a bunch of days where it's maybe 20-22 degrees Celcius. Finally had 30 yesterday, and now back to rain and 20. Christmas should be a nice mid-20 day though.

Nice here, low to mid 30s (celsius) all week.

But I'll be cold while you're on your summer holidays!

Weather here in Perth is going up and down every day. One day it's boiling, the next it's drenching.

-8 in Chicago the last couple days WITHOUT the windchill. with windchill, about -20. snow every other day, makes travel bad. i'm the only one at work, other 5 people are running 3 hours late. why do i still live here again? down the road i'm thinking arizona. it's too cold and too dangerous and expensive...$300 a month gas bills to keep it moderately warm in the house!...and that's keeping it lower. i do feel sorry for canada and minnesota! get out of there!!!

Yeah, but you can figure close to that for AC bills in the Arizona summer months.

Re: Current temperature - awesome

I was in Chicago two weeks ago, and it was crazy cold THEN! I'll bet it's brutal now. You have my sympathies. That's a great town in the spring and summer though. Love Chicago when it's warm.

34 degrees, heavy wind, and rain here - and it sucks, but I'll take anything that doesn't have a minus sign in front of it.
