I was just looking for a photo and stumbled upon a photo of my CD collection back in 2006.
Not than many CDs, I believe I had over 500 but never quite reached 600.
I did get CD racks later on.
Anyway, back then and much later, as late as 2012 I was not very keen on the whole itunes disposable tracks thing and preferred the actual tangible CD experience. Especially considering the CDs retailed for £9ish from Play/Rakuten and £7.99 on itunes so to me having an actual CD was worth the extra £1 and waiting a couple of days for delivery.
Today however, thanks to Spotify (on the go) and Youtube (at home), I don't think I've bought a new CD album in 4 or 5 years.
Anyway, do any of you guys still buy actual CDs (SACD/DVD Audio) anymore?
Incidentally 2006 was also the year I moved from 19" CRT monitor to 20" LCD one, and also bought my first LCD TV as well (only 26") so many things have changed but the CD thing surprised me.
