DVD-A / DVD Audio questions.

So, I'm interested now, in DVD Audio.
Dead format or worth investing in the media?
My car has the DTS decoder for the discs so I was wondering if anyone had a source for inexpensive discs?

I found some on Amazon, anyplace else worth Czeching out?

Thanks!

Re: DVD-A / DVD Audio questions.

See when a woman falls in love with 4 different men at one time, she offers up DVDA (see: Orgasmo)

Isnt DVD Audio mixed in 5.1? If so what would the pont of having it in the car be?

Re: DVD-A / DVD Audio questions.

I knew that would...POP up....
I thought it was DADP, though...
Either way, I just bought a couple DVDas that I figure I'll enjoy.
I nabbed Porcupine Tree's 'Deadwing' and 'In Absentia', and Queensryche's 'Empire'.
(Empire was too cheap to pass up.)

We'll see how it sounds.

Re: DVD-A / DVD Audio questions.

In Absentia sounds great, as does Empire.
Tree really made much better use of the soundscape and placed instruments very appropriately.
Late coming to the game, but media is pretty reasonable, so I don't mind in any case.
