DVD ripping software

Does anyone have any good DVD ripping software? I have a bunch of concert DVDs that i want on my ipod. Im only looking for freeware. a program that actually rips the whole dvd, not some 5 min. trial bullSh*t. So yea, a DVD to ipod program.

Thanks

Re: DVD ripping software

I use Handbrake for my DVD to Ipod purposes. It's easy to use, and it's free.

Re: DVD ripping software

Yeah, this forum isn't here for the discussion of getting around copy protection. I'll leave this open for now but be warned.

Re: DVD ripping software

you can use a freeware programe called DVD decrypter to back up all your DVDs and make additional copies in case something happens to your origional. im not sure what you would need to convert to ipod but im sure the piece of kit called gordian knot will convert the DVD decrypter files into almost any other video format, again its freeware. visit the website called afterdawn for all current info for making back up of your DVD. I back most of my fav DVDs up, ive lost a few in the past to scratches and one snappy incident! hope this helps HAGO

You need to have DVD43 installed in the background. All that does is remove the copy protection. *Shhh!*

Follow this guide and it will walk you through the whole process. I've tried all the various methods of ripping DVDs to iPod, and this way is the easiest to use (and offers the best results).

If the mods wish, I can simply take this to PMs.
