dvorak

I'm playing the 4th movement of the new world symph in the philharmonic youth orchestra and i really feel like making a guitar version. what do you think? the version we play doesnt feature such a big horn section and personally i like it with more strings than horns but this gives you an idea

Re: dvorak

It could be very cool I think.
It's a pitty this particular piece has been overused in commercials etc. On the plus side, it's very recognizable.
Are you intending to keep it in the classical realm, or more into taking it into the pop/metal direction ?

Re: dvorak

I don't think piano and symphonic pieces adapt well to guitar unless you are tapping both hands (just for some piano pieces).

Violin and cello concertos make excellent pieces on guitar though there may some difficulties in extreme sounds...
