Ernie Ball Match the Master Contest

Any of you going to give this a shot?

http://matchthemaster.amplifiertv.com/

I've been looking forward to this, and unfortunately it's launching at the worst time for me--I have 2+ full weeks in Feb where I can't even touch a guitar, much less practice or find the time to record video. ARGH.

Regardless, I've created my channel and will try like hell.

Nope, but I'll enjoy watching those that do.

Who the hell was I kidding? I just watched some of the videos. I might be able to pull off 1 or 2 of those riffs, but it would take me weeks to learn and master them enough to have a shot in hell. Oh well, it was a nice idea

Here's my channel if anyone is interested in checking it out. I have 5 videos up so far and should have the rest up by end of the weekend I hope!

So he's not using his signature picks anymore?

I thought he was. He mentions it at the beginning of a couple of the videos I thought.

I added Riff # 8 last night and hoping to get 7 and 9 done tonight!

Nice entries! Good luck!

Watch the intro video at 12 seconds. At first it appeared to be a black stiffo to me. Watching closely, it seems to be a black version of the Ultex Jazz III. That's certainly not a 2.0 either. Some might find this off-topic and too specific but I'm crazy about picks.

Re: Ernie Ball Match the Master Contest

Are you playing through a Mark V on the IIC+ mode? That sounds really good and rich with mids.

Nope, it's actually a 5153 1x12 combo. For all of them I used my RG752 with Dimarzios - ISP Decimator II - EVH5153 1x12 combo - Flashback Delay (in loop for lead riffs) - Nikon D5300 Camera (for audio and video capture).

And I just finished them off and got all 10 up on my page. Really appreciate you guys taking the time to view them! Let me know if you had any questions.
