Re: Favorite Youtuber

I've gotten to really like EytschPi42 on YouTube. He's one of the few people I know out there that will point out negatives on products. If he honestly digs something I know it's genuine. Unlike places like Guitar World that really only shill gear.

You're welcome. I hope this guy gets some more collaboration work in that scene. His playing really works with the genre and IMO there is a major lack of guitar talent there.

I've always liked Homer Simpson's advice for listening to music.

Agreed... The one he did on Kid Charlemange was spectacular!

It was, the Every Little Thing She Does is Magic was a good one too. Even the Nirvana one was eye opening. He always gives me something to think about or calls attention to something I missed, even if I don't care for the band or song

I liked the one on The Police too, but it has been quite a long time since I saw those videos and I kind of forgot about them. Looks like he's done a lot more since then!

It is incredibly difficult to convince/explain/demonstrate/enlighten people about how or why a piece of music is good unless those people already think the music is good before the "how and the why" are explained to them. So I think it is impressive you are willing to listen to what Rick Beato has to say and potentially learn something about music you may not even like. That is rare but good.

Some of Rick Beato videos are amazing and some are just meh.
Check out this guy making a guitar out of pencils. I've seen bowls but never a guitar.

That Pedal Show and Pete Thorn's channels are great. Mike Herman's does some pretty good demos. Tim Pierce has some pretty good content, as well.
