Frank Zappa on Crossfire?

This may be old to most/all of you, but I just found it for the first time, so I thought I'd share...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZM9I3r11QPY

He tells the guy to kiss his ass, and calls Reagan a facist... not many people would have enough balls to say that.

Re: Frank Zappa on Crossfire?

I commend him for that. He really does know what he's talking about and you can see that. I was only 4 years old when the issue was in court, but people who remember it all say the reason that they only got a label was because Frank Zappa was such a good speaker and knew what he was talking about.

That was great, thanks for the link. Zappa was pure genius and he would have made a great President.

I remember the hearings like they happened yesterday. It was surreal seeing Zappa sitting at the table next to John Denver.

Re: Frank Zappa on Crossfire?

This is a great reminder of how great our country is, and how we need to stand for our convictions. Whether you are on on side of an issue or another it is important to have both sides debated, and the issue put to the populous for a vote. Go Frank for getting kids interested in politics and government, and go John Lofton for standing up for his view. This was great, and definately worth a view 20 years later. Our country is only as good as the people in it. We have workers, managers, politicians, artists, straights, and hippies etc., we all get to play a part in the running of our country. Don't settle for what Tipper Gore, or Frank Zappa tell you to believe; find what YOU believe and stand for, then go run for office!!!

God bless America!
