Goin' to Boston, any ideas?

So... I'm going to the great town of beans again and wanted to see if anyone knew of any shows or goings on that might be noteworthy?

I'm there from Monday til Thursday, Oct 2-5th.

He beat me to it. What time do you leave town? I'm not sure if the show's sold out or not, but if you can catch it, well, since you were one of the guys who got me hooked I'm totally preaching to the choir, but they smoke live.

I'll be there with one of the guys from sevenstring.org, let me know if you can get tickets.

I'm leaving that night, but they have an in=store performance at Newbury Comics I'm going to try and make.

No shyte... What time? It's a work day for me, and a busy one most likely, but I might be able to get away on my lunch break or something.

Also, when's your flight? Keith and I might try to grab a round or two down at the Pour House right up the street, before the show.

Better off at Mass Bay Brewing, near Anthony's Pier Four (upscale restaraunt.) Harpoon is, imho, MUCH better than Sam Adams, Sam just spent more on advertising and marketing to get nationwide. Harpoon Ale, their original, rules. And if it's going on, go to Harpoon Oktoberfest, live music, lots of beer, about 15 porta-potties (long lines later in the evening, though). Had a blast at the one I went to in the 90's, saw Lush there. Good shoe-gazer music. Berklee is ok to see (class of '94, keg of Harpoon IPA to celebrate (and a bottle of Dom)), unless you get to tour the labs or you could buy stuff from the bookstore. The library is awesome. Don't carry your wallet, keep everything in your front pockets! But you knew that......

I was going to say that it seems like half of sevenstring.org lives in Boston, but Drew sort of beat me to it

Isn't there a new song out by one of those bands that sounds all the OTHER bands called "Goin' to Boston"???

Just curious...
