Got to love the weather...

So I'm sitting here bored to tears, home bound, thanks to the wonderful weather.
On my way back from getting a haircut, I slid out of the parking lot, then almost slid through an intersection, and I couldn't see more than a block ahead of me due to the snow. On top of that, the wind pushed my car all over the slippery roads.
The weather channel said it's "blustery" but I prefer the term "wind rape".
So, how's the weather with everyone else?

Oh, you're in Chicago!
Yeah, I think you have it worse than I do.
They said O'Hare had a two and a half hour delay. That's crazy.

It's no big deal man, after driving in it for 14 years you get used to it.

This weather really starts to eat at you around this time in the season. My car literally dropped dead about 3 weeks ago when hell froze over. Once it was above 9 degrees again it started as nothing had ever happened. I tell myself every year that Im leaving this place forever, but always end up back here for some damn job. Ive moved to California 2x in the last five years. But after a few months there it starts to drive you nuts and its too expensive. Lookin at Raleigh or Ashville, NC.

I was pretty disappointed with the big storm that just went through and that is still going through. We got a TON of wind the last two days but not much the in area of snow. I love my snow storms.

What a coincidence. My car did the same thing when it got cold three weeks ago.

Despite what I said about being bored I ended up going out again in this horrible weather and drank some beers, so the night wasn't a complete waste. The drive was horrible though. Spots of the road had a couple feet of snow drifted over it.
But the old Buick soldiered on.

Re: Got to love the weather...

First real day of spring today here in Denmark. The sun was shinning and it was quite warm as long as the wind didn't hit you.

Regards

André

I couldnt live somewhere where it was 80 most of the year, July and August are too much for me. I can afford sweaters, coffee, and rosey cheeked women to keep me warm.
