Help a Brother out......

Hey Jemsiters, I know a lot of you already know about Lonephantoms DIY site, but for those of you that don't I'd like to let you know about it.

LP has been a member here on Jemsite since 2005 and has posted well over 4500 posts, most of which were to help old members like myself and new members figure out the tricky world of guitar electronics. He got so good at it that he started his own website: www.Lonephantom.com The website contains many DIY projects that are the type of things that we will all actually use. They're all laid out in a step-by-step manner with tons of pics. His review section is a no holds barred place to get REAL WORLD reviews for equipment that we all use (or at least wish we were using.....lol). If you have not been there...I HIGHLY URGE YOU TO DO SO!!!!!!!

www.Lonephantom.com

On a more personal level, I'd like you all to know that the Phantom family recently got to welcome their second child into the world. This is the greatest joy any of us could hope to experience in our lives, but with the excitement and joy the bills always seem to get a bit tighter. Obviously the first expense to get cut-backs are going to be Phantoms projects and reviews....lets face it....... music costs money. Because of this I'm asking each of you to look into your hearts/minds and go make a $1 donation to Phantoms site. There is a "donate" button on the main page that will take you right to "paypal donate"... 2 clicks and your done!!!!!!!!

$1 is a very nice donation, but if you can afford a couple more.... EVEN BETTER!!!!!

Lonephantom has proven to me and all of Jemsite over the years to be the Real Deal!! He's a very simple regular guy that is honest, trustworthy, and truly believes in helping others when they need it. Now it's our turn to help him bring us the high quality reviews and in depth DIY projects that I for one, truly appreciate......... Thanks Phantom.

Again the website: www.Lonephantom.com

Phantoms Visitor page: http://www.jemsite.com/forums/member.php?u=8154

Thanks for reading this everyone!!!

Ryc

if yours wasnt a keeley then yes.... so no.

Like in all honesty, 23$? thats a couple drinks at the bar for me. If he gets one hour of usage out of it, and enjoys it, its way more worth it for me for it to go to a good home. He's always respected me, and done great things on this site, I can throw a brother a bone.

Re: Help a Brother out......

Thanks heaps Ryc, you are a true credit to this fine site. You've done a lot for me.

And cheers linuxpenguin, it's much appreciated. I'll be using the DS-1 to redo the mods I did to my sadly now dead DS-1. It was my first DIY pedal experiment. It sounded awesome, but then I took the mods a bit further and damaged the PCB. I'm looking forward to experimenting with my first mods, and tweaking a few things. These will at some point end up on my blog.

Re: Help a Brother out......

Makes modding sound freaking easy... At least guitars aren't cameras.

I'm going to come out here, and say thanks AlaskaBat for your donation too. Very generous, and someone else who is a true credit to this site.
