Help me out, guys!

Do any of you guys know of somebody I could use to ship an oversized package from the US to Scotland?

Also, some ideas for good packing material and a source of large boxes would be nice too. I'm shipping a half stack (head and cabinet), which is why I'm asking.

Thanks in advance, y'all!

BTW, head and cabinet combined weigh about 70 pounds (32kg)

UPS for the shipping. Don't go anywhere near anything which uses the Royal Mail for the last leg.

No idea about packing. Ask UPS for some boxes? <shrug>

You can use a UPS Store to pack and ship it, but you'll pay through the ass.

Re: Help me out, guys!

70 lbs seems pretty light for a half stack. My JSX is nearly 70 lbs by itself and a Marshall 1960 4x12 is about 95 lbs.

no you're not.

Salamader,
Such things happen when you sell things outside of the U.S. I shipped a few large things through a frieght comapany. Fed Ex Freight I think it was. It was awefully expensive though.

I don't think someone like him previews himself to "yankin". Think deeper, darker, sicker....and maybe you'll be close.

Re: Help me out, guys!

Okay, thanks for the advice, guys.

It's not so much the weight of the whole thing - it's just the size of the head and cabinet combined that makes it a pain in the ass.

Anywho, I'm not the one who's paying shipping, so it's really not a concern for me. But, I figured I'd rather search around and find the least expensive option, rather than having them unnecessarily pay a ton of money, just out of common courtesy.

ScreamJem: It's a mini, that's why it's so light. I think the cabinet is a 4x8". It's a good size, but nowhere near the weight of a 4x12".

Aaron: Haven't talked to you in a while, bro. How's it goin'?

BTW, you still need to ask your wife what kind of detergent she uses.
