How do I make my thread Bold?

I notice some threads are bold and some aren't, how can I make my thread bold?

[B]PUT YOUR TEXT HERE[/b*] and don't put the * in there.

[size=3]BIGGER LETTERS[/size*] change the number for bigger/smaller text.

[size=3][B]BIGGER BOLD LETTERS![/b*][/size*]

[i]ITALIC[/i*]

Will look like this:

PUT YOUR TEXT HERE

BIGGER LETTERS

BIGGER BOLD LETTERS!

ITALIC

I want avatars and sigs. I can appreciate the forum loads faster without them but I miss 'em.
