How do you listen to music

How do you listen to music? MP3 player, iPhone, radio, internet, vinyl?

If the 50ís and 60's were the era of the record, in the 70's we had tape, (lovely 8-tracks and cassettes!), and the Sony Walkman, then CD's in the 80ís and now MP3's.

This Day in Music is running a poll to find out how you listen to your music.

CD in my Car, because I can crank it as loud as I like for as long as I like.... CD over MP3 for the quality. And I can tell the difference in quality when you really crank up music...

Re: How do you listen to music

At home I use CDs through a Yamaha amp and Aaron speakers. When i'm out and about I use an Ipod and Roland monitor headphones. The amp/speakers setup sounds way better.

Rock on!

Usually MP3s through my PC. But I have the headphone out going into an AIWA stereo throught the AUX input, so it sounds better than your average computer speakers.

I agree...there's a time and place for the Ipod but there's nothing like cranking up your favourite tunes in the vehicle and feeling the thump of the speakers without having to worry about pissing off the wife or the neighbours ;o)

MP3 player at work and home. The computer at home sometimes, though we do have a stereo w. a CD player I like to use sometimes.
CD in the car. No aux port in the car but I do generally prefer CD's.
Sadly, I think the CD's days are numbered.
I LOVE record stores!

Yeah i agree, you can't beat the music quality of a CD, i can quite easily tell the difference of listening to Steve Vai on my ipod compared to my car or home stereo, music feels so alive when its blasting through your stereo and when you listen to it on your ipod its so sterile with alot of feel missing, yep you can't beat the stereo and cd when it comes to great loud music
