Indiana Jones

I sure hope the movie is great. The original has got to be one of the best movies ever.

Indiana Jones brings back memories of my famliy going to see Raiders as a kid.

Looks like I am going to have to take off work on Thursday, because the movie opens , but I have second row for Iron Maiden so I guess, I'll have to catch the early showing.

Re: Indiana Jones

there will be mixed reviews with everything. i will see it first thing thursday morning. i didn't like how sean connery belittled indy in every scene in the last flick. sean's character turned indy into a wuss boy.

Re: Indiana Jones

All I can say is that Harrison Ford is 65 years old !!!

I'm sure the film will be very entertaining but it is just exploiting the previous 3 films.

I just watched a documentary on the real crystal skulls on sci fi or discovery with my son very cool neat stuff.

My son who never saw or heard of Indiana Jones is now a big fan after watching the first 3...and all because of the new movie.

Re: Indiana Jones

Karen Allen is back in this film. She was excellent in Raiders.
The person I am not sure of in the film is Shia LeBeouf

Just so you know the movie is set 18 years after the last Indy advemture (1957) so they did take age into account a bit.

And I don't think Speilberg (sp?) and Lucas really need to or want to exploit their own movies. George Lucas is the sole rights owner for all of star wars except a bit of A New Hope. Fox was just a distributer. He is a billionare by all accounts, I don't think he needs to market movies just to make money.

I think they just enjoy making the movies. But, it doesn't mean that it's going to be good. I hope so but we'll see.

I wasn't crazy about him either until I saw Disturbia. He's really grown up since his earlier works, and he's actually a pretty good actor now.

Re: Indiana Jones

Indiana Jones is getting fairly old for a dashing archeologist who jumps off of cliffs and swings from vines. I saw some funny (or not so funny) parodies on what they think the next Indiana Jones movie titles will be:

"Indiana Jones and the mildly disconcerting prostate PSA test results...."

"Indiana Jones and the arthritic knee..."
