Re: ipod questions

Do you have itunes? If so import the album covers into your itunes then when you sync your ipod they should come up.I have a mac so if you don't use itunes I don't know how else to do it.
As for dvd's I think you would drag it into itunes movies, then that should go on.Make sure on your itunes/ipod settings you allow for movies and artwork.
Hope this helps

Re: ipod questions

I had to add all the album covers for my MP3s to my Nano iPod manually. I just found the images of the covers on the net and saved them locally to my PC. Then I ran iTunes, selected all the songs in an album, opened up the properties for all the MP3s (you can open up the properties for multiple MP3s simultaneously) and set the album cover. When I sync'd up my iPod, all the covers were there.

Re: ipod questions

If you go to your iTunes preferences, it has a selection "to automatically download missing artwork".
For the not so typical stuff, however, you may end up with artwork that has nothing to do with the actual artist. That's when you have to go on a manual hunt.
Then I believe the iPod itself (or in iTunes when you connect it) has a setting, asking if you want to include artwork or not, when syncing music.
I guess it's there to help you save space, if you need it...

Re: ipod questions

Actually since we're on the topic, can anyone tell me how i could get the songs from my ipod to go onto my itunes ? What happened is i recently opened a trojan from a friend of mine's computer. It was messaging all his friends, and by coincidence it typed pretty much like him, so i opened the files and my computer went dead. So i had to reformat. When i reinstalled i tunes, it recognizes my ipod, but when i added songs to my itunes, it won't let me just add them, it says it would erase all my songs by replacing the song list. Is this normal ? I was always under the impression that the ipod could be updated on many different itunes. For instance, if i wanted a few albums from a friend, i could just sync it at his house.

Anyone know what i need to do? If it helps, i own the new Ipod Touch 16 gig.

Thank You
