Knuckle problem (When I close my hand)

Hello Im not sure if anyone else has this problem but..

I used to play quite a bit of video games and I think this may be a contributing factor, everytime I close my fingers, about halfway they 'click' the rest of the way shut. As a guitarist im sure you can understand that I am VERY afraid, I am just curious if anyone else has this and/or if anyone can help me understand what it is and what I can do to prevent/save my hands from becoming immobile!!!

Is it painful or is it "popping"? Popping is just gas in your knuckles getting released, and does nothing harmful to your body. Is it predominant on your playing hand? If its both hands, I doubt its anything guitar related, your strumming hand doesnt have the same problems as the playing hand.

if its painful, go see a doctor.... also, how old are you and how long have you been playing...

Popping! Yes thats a better word than clicking. I only have it on my right hand, I also play classical guitar. I just turned 21 last week and ive been playing for about 7 years
