Last day at work before becoming a full-time guitar journalist!

Woohoo!!! Iíve been waiting for this day since I was about 13. The rapid increase in freelance writing work for guitar mags and websites has coincided with my day job (finance journalism) shutting down, so Iím off into the wild green yonder of freelance journalism. At the moment I write for:

Gibson.com
Mixdown Magazine (check out my monthly instructional column, ĎUnleash Your Inner Rock God)
Australian Guitar Magazine
Australian Musician Magazine
The Brag
My own site, http://iheartguitarblog.com

And a couple of others starting in the next few weeks.

Iím going to try to get some more writing work (especially US and UK magazines) as well. Iíll also be teaching guitar one or two nights a week for a little while as a bit of a safety net but it looks like I wonít really need it.

As I think I've already said on facebook, congratulations. You've certainly worked hard enough for it. Keep living the dream.
