What is up gang. I started on Jemsite in 2005 (11 years ago, close to 12, wow do I feel old.) I am 24 now, when I first joined I was about 12 years old and apparently didn't know English very well. My first post... well... ever I guess, was, "Is A Fender Fm412sl And A 100 Woot Head A Good That Will Make Me Happy?".
WILL IT MAKE ME HAPPY?!
aahhhh, I've missed this site, and I've thought about it a lot. I decided to try and find my old screen name and finally got it to work after I reset my password. This site was a really fun, and nice introduction to being civil online and I really appreciate the times I had on here. Surprisingly enough, I even had some threads that got 100+ replies. Some notable ones included:
+Sharing a site that allowed you to create a South Park Avatar
+A 100 greatest guitarist list that I snagged from some website I'm sure
+Asking what the best amp for heavy metal was (then I believe correcting everyone and telling them that it was a pedal I just got, that looking back on was absolute garbage)
+ And posting a picture of a guitar I drew that apparently looked oddly... well penis shaped.
So many amazing times for me on here that I honestly look back on fondly. Anyways, wanted to stop by and say I appreciate y'all for introducing me to some amazing music and musicians such as: Steve Vai (of course), Paul Gilber, the guitars suck series (which featured so many amazing musicians), and honestly some people even on this dang site. Anyways, thank you for allowing my young immature ass a taste of adulthood, and fantastic virtuoso music, I'll never forget you all. Keep on keepin on.
