Thumbs up Low cost computer upgrade.

Barebones low cost upgrade. I'm not looking for top of the line obviously. I do almost no gaming nowadays. Lots of image editing and a little video editing.

Options:

1) AMD 64 3800+ (single core)

2) AMD 64 x2 4200+

3) Intel Core 2 Duo E6300

4) Intel Dual Core E2140

Which one would represent the best bang for buck? I'll probably just have 2 gigs of ram with one of the options above.
The Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 is quite a bit more expensive. I'm not sure how much better it will perform.
I'm just looking for a low cost upgrade from my XP2200+ machine.

check around 2-3x per day for a week or so... the inventory widely varies. sometimes too the "dell deals" are as good as refurb
