Yeah I get migraines too,Ive tried cutting out everything thats supposed to cause them such as cheese,chocolate,red wine etc,never found the cause although eating food with Monasodium Glutamate does seem to be one cause also too much time on some computers and playing computer games for too long also seems to be a contributor.
They last generally around 8 hours for me so Im quite lucky compared to alot of sufferers and they are not as intense as they used to be although I get the disturbed vision which in many ways is the worse part for me and I also vomit,but that seems to be the mark of them starting to ease.
Ive been to the doctor on several occassions in the past and been given different medication to either prevent or lessen the effects,none of which made the slightest difference.What works best for me is taking ibruprofen such as Anadin Ultra(dont know what it's called in the States)
I read in a paper the other day that yoga is supposed to help prevent attacks,that maybe work a try,Im certainly going to give that a go
