Mobile dog and bones

I'm changing my contract over, after some serious consideration and discussion with myself and several bottles of drinks...

....so now, consideration must be given to which handset to employ.

I like the look of the Nokia N95 along with the wealth of features on offer.

What others are there to consider? Being able to take loads of pictures of things and send them is a fun quality to have along with being able to store a compliment of banjo music, is most certainly inspiring.

Any input?

Thanks.

Has anyone here experience with the N95? I've not really heard anything good about it, alot of software issues.

Re: Mobile dog and bones

Has anyone experience with the Sony Ericsson 850i or the Samsung G800?

I didn't have a good experience with a Sony once, so said I'd never get one again, but there are people about who have them and say they've not had problems with them in the past.

Re: Mobile dog and bones

I have the N95

Good phone, but VERY buggy.

I've lost count how many times it has rebooted while listening to a song or something.

Other than the random reboots I think it is a very good phone. I wouldn't buy the handset on it's own though. I have it on contract, as the handset is very pricey...or at least it was last time I checked.

Re: Mobile dog and bones

Well, I went for the K850i, looks quite good. It's fun for me as I've never had a phone with so many features before. Had my Sharp GX30i for years, but sadly the battery won't take it anymore, so made sense to get a new phone over a new battery, as the phone was free when I changed to a better contract.

Re: Mobile dog and bones

I got a N95 when I upgraded last June. t'was a pile of poo... in fact the kind of poo you see in one of the lavvy's at Glastonbury or in fact any festival where there is vegetarian nosh and hippies

Had it a day then it went straight on the bay where I got 250 for it within 40 mins of me listing it.

It restarted itself then froze as I was setting it up. So it went.

I'd go with anything by Sony Ericsson these days. I've totally gone off Nokia's

Re: Mobile dog and bones

Ok, some pics from the camera as requested, just a few I did recently.

I actually had to resize these, as of course, the phone has a 5M camera, but when you view 100 %, you find out just how awful the quality is. That said, it's rather good oherwise on smaller resolutions. If I want great photos, I whip out my Canon EOS 5D, but it's just great to take a few opportunity snaps from a phone.
