Apparently she ended up with a French accent after suffering a serious migraine attack, she's English btw. They say it's a very rare neurological disorder. Sacre Bleu!!!

Something may have popped or given way in her brain; it's a complicated place! She certainly doesn't look too happy about the situation from the video though. She must gets all sorts of [email protected] from people who assume she's 'faking it', wouldn't you think?

It is legit. Been documented in other people over the years.

Doesn't sound all that french to me.
Has she thought about fronting a melodic death metal band, because she sounds more like angela gossow!

I wouldn't knock it. One of my best friends had a stroke some 5 years ago. Right now he's as recovered as he'll ever get and he is completely deaf on one ear and has a permanent vertigo. He can't walk a straight line when he's completely straight and sober and has to carry a medical paper that says so, because if he's ever pulled over - he'll fail the sobriety test regardless of drinking...

I'd say it's not exactly an accent, but some speaking disturbance... that may sound like a French accent.
That's pretty possible, I guess.

I went to school with a friend who spent a summer in the UK and came back with a thick english accent, and never dropped it...

It's real. He despised our southern drawl. I myself don't carry a drawl. Dialect is just dialect (unless i'm tankered, then the redneck in me might come out a bit...)

It isn't an accent, it is a speech impediment perceived by the listener to be an accent.
