Music Stores

I'm so glad I was guitar play in the 80s and early 90s.
I lived in the Minneapolis area at the time.
Any day of the week I could find 10+ music stores to go too and see a JEM of UV hanging on wall in 8 out of ten of them. I miss those days. Now the I-net killed most of those stores. If I can find a music store they all survive by giving lessons and renting stuff. Try to find a god guitar in the store or a cool pickup. I miss those days.

You were guitar play?!
What's a guitar play?
That makes no sense to me!
And I keep reading but can't understand what your thread is about.
Maybe you miss those days?
You know you can't bring them back, don't you?
I'm completely lost

Maybe this guy can help you =

Re: Music Stores

Reminiscing about the days of yore is perhaps best served by the chat area of the forum

I miss those days too, but the internet has made a few boutique stores flourish by subsidising their actual store with international shipping on very cool, rare items.

More than anything I miss the excitement about going to a store, never knowing what was actually going to be around. These days the internet brings an infinite stock list into your living room and any trip to a store is a bit of a dissappointment I find.

Re: Music Stores

Seeing as how this thread is even more off topic than when 6fingers posted the first irrelevant picture in here I'm going to lock this up and hope it sinks to the depths for all time.
