Question Mustaine Rig Change

Meanwhile, I am taking my Classic Metal V known formerly as a Jackson King V1 or an ESP DV8, and my new guitar design presently known as an Axxion, which was the recipient of the Gold Award from Guitar World Magazine for 2005 for new guitar designs with me.

I will also be re-introducing through my new endorsement many special models, including re-issues of my old models from over the span of my career, as well as some retro V shapes, similar to the formerly known Jackson Y2KV or a Gibson Flying V.

I will make my announcement and be attending the 2007 NAMM show to meet Megadeth fans and all metal fans, musicians of all styles-especially guitarists, and Megadeth will be performing a private invitation only party for only 300 guests and 300 vendors and music industry people.

Dave Mustaine

I wasn't expecting that! And recently he mentioned on blabbermouth.net, that Line 6 of all people, have made him a amp which he'll be using for 'United Ambitions' and the rest of the Gigantour.

He must have tried out Mike Romeo's rig during Gigantour.

Hmmm.. I wonder which company picked himup 'cause I doubt he'll be going back to Jackson any time soon. The only statement Dave said was really that he's leaving ESP and re-introducing the King V/DV8, AXXXION and Y2KV under whoever is endorsing him now.

(who knows, maybe Marty called him up and got him to switch to Ibanez)

Wouldn't surprise me if he was off to Ibanez, but I don't think it will be Jackson because of Fender.

I don't think so. Dave left Jackson because they wouldn't do his Axxion guitar.

That part is kind of funny. I wonder which one he doesn't wish the best to.

I read in a Guitar World Interview Mustaine said he left Jackson because he was interested in buying the company when they were up for sale but no one from Jackson contacted him and they just went to Fender.

I hope not. It would be really f'ing cool if he switched to Ibanez and Ibanez used him for pr to introduce the new flying v.

If that's the case, hopefully we can look forward to yet another black RG style model? ;-)
