Red face My son is a musician...almost

He's been taking piano for about 4 months, and I was uncertain how he was going to do with it. He's flying through the books and really has a nack for reading (Thank GOD!). They started violin in school and he wanted to do that too. He seems to be picking that up easier due to the reading he's doing with piano, I assume.

My oldest daughter took piano for 5-6 lessons, as well as clarinet for a few months and was turned off by the prospect of music, so I'm constantly aware to not shove it down their throats, but it's hard because I really am excited. My two youngest also show interest but it's a tad early yet...keeping my fingers crossed

We are going to be working on some Christmas stuff together to debut for the family when we all get together.

Just thought I'd share because I am going crazy with excitement and bursting with pride...

My Aunt has an upright piano from my Grandfather, she's giving us. Her and her husband are getting a baby grand. I have my keyboards and a digital piano, so when she offered I took her up on it right away. I already made room and am hoping to get it here before Thanksgiving.
