Smile The New 7 Wonders Of The World

I'm going to submit my vote later on for this, I think it's pretty cool. Of course, my first pick will be Machu Picchu, since I'm from Peru The only thing that bites is that you have to make 7 choices (which defeats the purpose of voting for your personal choice IMO).

P.S.: Should we turn this into a Jemsite Poll and see the results?

Statue of Liberty? I know they're stretching to find something in the US, but I just don't see it. I'd rather see the McRib or right boob instead.

Re: The New 7 Wonders Of The World

I think that Mt. Rushmore or even the Grand Canyon would have been better choices but still not close enough. The Statue of Liberty and, similarly, the Eiffel Tower are not necessarily what I would classify as a wonder of the world because they were built for different purposes.

In the case of Stonehenge, no one knows who built it. Similarly, with Machu Picchu, the leyend states that the city rose up from the ground after a golden staff was inserted on the mountain site where the city is. In the near city of Cuzco, there is a temple which was built with stone blocks that weigh more than 1 ton and are perfectly cut. Within those blocks, there is a block that was cut to have 12 perfect angles that doesn't seem to have any imperfections and no one can explain how the Incas were able to make such perfect cuts.

Re: The New 7 Wonders Of The World

I concur with Elcid.

Here are my 7 wonders:

1) How do blind people know when they are finished wiping their butts?
2) Before the invention of trains, what did Tornadoes sound like?
3) If a deaf guy farts and noone is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
4) How many Cantalopes can you fit in Madonna's Vag?
5) Why do my testis get droopy on hot days and high and tight on cold days?
6) If Hillary Clinton were walking in the forest and a tree fell on her.......... would anyone give a crap?
7) Should I get back on my meds?

Re: The New 7 Wonders Of The World

michblanch, I have some of the answers.

1) Do you look at you butt to see if you're done wiping?
2) Huh?
3) No, because there is no animals functioning ear there to interpret the sound energy.
4) Depends on the size of the Cateloupe, but if its average I'd say 2 1/2.
5) Your balls have to stay warm, so they tighten and move closer to the body for warmth.
6) The tree?
7) Probably, don't take the green ones though.

But seriously from that list-
1) The Colosseum
2) The Great Wall
3) Angkor
4) Taj Mahal
5) Petra

Keep in mind thats pretty much the order I'd travel to them
