New Music Thread

So, I discovered a few new bands, artists, and a few are off my typical beaten path.
Anyone else discover anything new?

1. E.S. Posthumous - Unearthed
Think James Bond cinematic type stuff.
Every time I hear it, I wish I were in a Bourne Movie.

2. Spaced Out
Canadian Prog group, amazing players, stunning arrangements and technique.

3. The Black Keys.
Either you know 'em or you don't. Think White stripes, but more traditional and stripped down.

Whatcha got?

I got the Black Key's first album when it came out in like 02 or 03...something like that. I've been a huge fan ever since. Awesome band. They recorded it in some guys basement they were living in on a radio shack 4 track. They recorded Thickfreakness in an abandoned tire factory. I love their sound, probably one of the last true rock bands these days.

As far as new tunes i've discovered, I joined the "Djent-leman's Club" on facebook (I guess ran by the same guys as got-djent) and found a couple of awesome bands; Textures and Nociceptor. Great stuff.

Re: New Music Thread

One of my favorite current Austin bands, Oh No Oh My, has an album release this Friday. How is that for new?

Haven't discovered a ton lately. Revisiting stuff that's been in my library for a while. Was rockin some Ken Nordine at work today.
