Re: NFL Playoffs

Hopefully my Bears offence plays better than they did against Green Bay or things might not be looking so good. Besides getting an extra week of rest, we are home for the first playoff game so that should help....I hope.

Re: NFL Playoffs

Funny how good the 5/6 seeds are compared to the 3/4 seeds. Great evidence in the point spreads...

#5 Saints giving 10 to the #4 Seahawks
#6 Packers only getting 2.5 from the #3 Eagles
#6 Jets only getting 3 from the #3 Colts
#5 Ravens giving 2.5 to the #4 Chefs

On a neutral field, 3 of the 4 division winners would be underdogs.

Cutler in a meaningful game = scary.

The Birds are probably 1 and done, but the pundits are starting the "redemption tour" garbage. Everybody we'd play we lost to, except the Falcons. All were close games so there's always a chance, if they can get anybody to block and defend passes for a few more games!!

Re: NFL Playoffs

I really need my Saints to turn on the mojo.

KC fans should be the happiest of any fans this year. Looks like they have turned the club around.

Re: NFL Playoffs

Unfortunately, I don't see the Saints going all the way this year. They don't seem to be playing inspired football like they have in the past. I am pulling for the black and gold but I won't be surprised if they go down to the Bears, Falcons, or Packers in the playoffs.

Re: NFL Playoffs

I'm feeling pretty good about the chances of my Steelers, but I'd be ecstatic if someone else could handle the Patriots for us even if it would mark one of the few times I root for Baltimore/Indy....

That Tampa game was horrible. After a great game against Atlanta, they looked like a high school team against the bucks.

Andy Reid vs Mike McCarthy on Sunday will be the key matchup. I think the Packers defense can slow the Eagles down, but not shut them out. Will probably come down to which coach makes the biggest dumb decision.

Go Packers!

With all the thuggery in the NFL it would be so sweet for GB to defeat a sex offender (QB steelers) and simultaneously drive a stake in the heart of another and one they couldn't get rid of all too easily (favre) LOL ... glen

Re: NFL Playoffs

Good luck with that Glen, all Large Benjamin does is make clutch play after clutch play...either way, it's going to be a great game!

I did some promotion work with the Steelers a few years ago and spent a whole day with some of the team members and they were a great bunch of guys, very down to earth and knew how to have a good time. I'm not a Steelers fan but because of that experience I will be rooting for them in the final.

Wasn't aware of the Roethlisberger sex offender stories and I didn't meet him, but the guys I spent the day with had random, numerous women coming up and flirting with the like crazy all day.

Right on!

Rodgers is in his 3rd season starting and is one win away from having as many Super Bowl victories in his career as Favre.

Dude, I'm with you! Being a Bengals fan, I hate the Steelers to the core. Plus, the Packers have class--something that's always been absent in Pittsburgh. Rogers is the new guy, was in Favre's shadow, and a win would finally put him on the map. While I'd have loved a Jets/Packers SB, the Packers vs. Steelers is one of those throwback games you just have to appreciate.
