Re: No Deeper the love?

for moment I thought that wasn't on the slip of the tongue album, but it was, so who knows.. There must be videos of it somewhere..

Re: No Deeper the love?

there is a crap video of the slip of the tongue tour where they play that song live. it was recorded in buffalo. maybe if coverdale decided to release a whole whitesnake show of that era (not the festival reduced show we all know, but a regular one of the tour like the japanese footage seen here and there eventually...)

I'm curious though, if this is 6finger's band? I mean they are from Brazil you know...

A simple and better punishment would be Long Dong Silver doing him for 1 hour

Yeah because in Brazil there's only 1 Whitesnake cover band.
Just like USA, Brazil is a so tiny country
If they're from here I don't know how those guys played cause cover bands have to play exactly the same as the original, if not people won't pay to watch them so pubs won't accept them.
Those guys probably were playing for their families

Re: No Deeper the love?

It is ... sad... Anyway, they are only amateurs, and I'd seen much worse performances. The thing I still don't get is... Ok, you are versioning Whitesnake. But this means you have to dress and move exactly Coverdale does? I think this turns the whole thing to a new level of dissapointment and deception... Is he an actor, a singer, ... ???

I thught it was quite tongue in cheek. Didn't Robert Plant used to joke that David Coverdale should have been called David Coverversion based on how much he thought DC copied his style?

Red face Re: No Deeper the love?

Plant said that about anyone who sounded like him due to being influenced by him though...He practically murdered the careers of Kingdom Come!
