Found out today I am off to Singapore on business for a week on Friday.

Looking for some information from any of you guys out there who either live there or have been.

Any decent guitar shops I should check out, I'll be looking for a gym so I can train while I'm out there as well (free weights if poss).

I am staying on stamford road.

You can go to Swee Lee at Bras Basah Complex. It is a 5 minutes walking distance from where you stay. Swee Lee is the main dealer for Ibanez, Epiphones and Gibson.

You can also go to Davis Guitar, Guitar Connection and Guitar77. They are all near from where you stay and are located at Peninsular Plaza. They are about 15 minutes walkfrom Stamford Road.

Davis is the dealer for ESP, PRS, B.C Rich and Brian Moore guitars. Guitar Connection and Guitar77 deal with used guitars.

Iwas just in Singapore on holiday back in March. If you are near Orchid Road (I'm guessing you will be) there is a huge 3 story gym complex along there. If you walk along Orchid Road you're bound to see it. One of the locals on this board should be able to give you better directions as I cannot remember exactly where it was.

plenty of cheap ibanez there.

I was a bit shell shocked this morning when I found out I was going but I am looking forward to it now big time.

I have a boy night out on friday and a fairly early flight on saturday which is not a combination I'm looking forward to, at least I'm in business class
