Question Pet Peeves

I just realized that my pet peeves could lead to some sort of OCD!!! Open cabinet doors; picture frames not being 100% PERFECTLY straight; extremely long, drawn-out conversations about HOW the HECK the UNIVERSE is EXPANDING; why men have nipples, etc... My most retarded pet peeve is guitar heads... If they're too small, too rectangular, too curvy, too .. ANYTHING .. I just can't STAND 'em!!

Anyways, I was wondering what everyone's pet peeves are... This could be boring, could be interesting. You never know!!

Re: Pet Peeves

Yep. I definitely have OCD to a certain degree. Some of my pet peeves...

-Guys who wear makeup(no, not guys like Steve Vai, teenaged emos/punks)
-Wreckless drivers(almost got hit today by some clueless bitch while I was running)
-Arrogant/ignorant people who argue about politics trying to convince you that they're right and you're not
-"gangstas"

That's all I can think of for now.

Re: Pet Peeves

I've worked in a restaurant since I was like 8, so over the years I've developed countless numbers of pet peeves. Summing them up though, my pet peeve is stupid people. not, unintellegent people, just plain stupid (and cheap) people.

Don't know why men have nipples, hugh Katrina? .......

Re: Pet Peeves

i dont have many , i am usualy pretty easy going but number one by far is

when people are eating and they dont use thier lips to pull the food off the fork and the metal fork scrapes thier teeth . I have been eating and thrown food across the room from me cringing . I can handel just about anything else then that ,constantly talking with food in your mouth bothers me , as well as smacking gum but the fork things just makes me freak out . I am freaked out right just thinking about it .

Re: Pet Peeves

haha!! Yeah, pretty much a lot of things that have to do with eating bother a LOT of people...

Here's an interesting peeve!
Today on the bus, we were all shaking hands with each other to see who had the firmest handshake, but wasn't a death grip.. And this dude played a trick on me, and just BARELY touched my hand when he "shook" it.. It was SO creepy and felt like holding a DEAD FISH!!

And ONLY girls freak out about that! Seriously!! I don't know a single GUY that freaks out about that... But I was like, "EW EW EW!!" and literally WIPED my hand on my backpack to get rid of the feeling of a LOOSE handshake.

*cringe* It's DISGUSTING!!

Re: Pet Peeves

I'm sure I have more but these come to mind right now.

-Monday Morning Quarterbacks(Sport or non-sport. If you can do it better, shut up and do it.)
-People that can't delegate the work load(I too am included at times)
-Soccer moms in HUGE SUVs on Cell Phones! Arg!
-Guitars that just don't set-up on the first time, or the second, or the third!
-Don't step on or tangle-up my wires!
-AND Most Important don't **** with my wha pedal when I'm on the other side of the room playing my guitar!

Re: Pet Peeves

So many that I am miserable all of the time. I actually have to remind myself to ignore my pet peeves or else I might go nuts....oh wait that's already happened.

Biggest would be cleanliness, err, the lack thereof.

Re: Pet Peeves

Anything that has to do with Guitar Center.

To be a human musician is to want desperately, desperately to fuch Guitar Center. It is to want that with your entire mind, such that often it’s all you can think about.
