I've heard various songs off it from one source or another for the past 15-20 years. They are all accurate with what's on the record, albeit record has had modern mastering applied, etc.
Joe said that they never actually released the album. They were shopping for a record deal and did not want to release it because if it bombed as a self release, they wouldn't get a deal. Joe regrets not releasing it because he think it would have done well. If you can get past the 80's vocals (not the talent, but the era style) the guitar work is phenomenal and is a blast hearing an early Joe and hearing licks that would become synonymous with Joe's playing.
A couple of early 80's bands came to mind when listening, The Police and Journey.
