Recomend a Good Cheap Digital Camera?

Hey

I lost my last one "Fujufilm MX1700 1.5 Megapixels" and Need to replace it with something of similar size and quality.

I'd like something with an optical zoom and a good LCD screen, but I'm on a tight budget,

And help would be greatly apprechiated.

Thanks a bunch

Re: Recomend a Good Cheap Digital Camera?

I don't really have one to recommend but have noticed the prices dropping the past few years.
I just saw an ad for a 4mp HP cam for $89.

What is your budget? Would you consider buying used?

Well I would say just buy the best Canon A series you can afford. New or used. Your choice. All the Canon A series cameras are hard to beat for the price. The Canon Digital Elphs are realy nice too.

When you find one you like go to Steve's digitcams and look at a review of it. http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html

Thumbs up Re: Recomend a Good Cheap Digital Camera?

Hi,

I have a 4Mpixel Fujifilm 3500 that I bought for less than 200Ä (new). It's simple to use, has a build-in flash, supports up to 2GB memory cards and it takes great pictures.

Regards,

D.

Re: Recomend a Good Cheap Digital Camera?

I have a BenQ 5MP.

Metal body, optical zoom, the rest of the features of the others. I bought that just over a year ago for about £150 plus a 512MB sd card.

Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

I think that BenQ are something to do with Sony. Either way they remind me of LG. High quality products priced to get market share against the more successful brands.
