RIP - PAUL NEWMAN

The end of an era. Sad to see him go.

Re: RIP - PAUL NEWMAN

Yeah, I just heard. I heard he had cancer and had chosen to stop chemo therapy last August.

He was a great actor.

Re: RIP - PAUL NEWMAN

I actually met Paul a few times. He was a part owner in a Champ Car open-wheel race team. I worked the Portland, Oregon race as a volunteer, and ran into him four or five times from 2002-2006.

Actually, he wasn't very friendly (I asked for a picture a few times, and he always said "No"), but I respect him for his work (even though I'm too young to have known him as a popular actor).

Enjoy the big racetrack in the sky, buddy!
