Scariest thing that has happened to me...

...in a really long time.

So, I'm up here in Oregon with the girl visiting her family. Well, they live pretty far out, and we've been 4-wheeling and all that other country jazz all week. I'm from the country, so I love it out here, great change of pace from Jax.

Well, we're riding today, and she's riding with her mom, who can get a little crazy. Well, the logging trails out here are great to ride. Pretty good mix of everything from really fast, to climbs, to slow and curvy, stumpy, bumpy, you name it.

Well, we were on a climb, very curvy, steep, and woody. At the top of the hill was a pretty steep lip for an exit, I guess you could say. Well, they approached it, but with not enough speed, started rolling backwards, and flipped. This is a pretty steep hill with a lot of trees, so it rolls a few times and ends up landing on my girlfriend's head. I literally felt my heart stop, the whole world stop.

But the good news is, everyone was pretty much okay. Except the 4-wheeler. And my girlfriends leg. It's bruised up pretty bad. She was wearing a helmet, so she actually didn't really get too hurt at all.

But it's a pretty frightening sight to see the rear wheels of a 650 pinning your girlfriend's head to the ground.

Whew...

4-wheeler, not bike. I don't think they made them much bigger.

ATV - and that's about as big as they get

Glad she's okay, Jax! I used to race motocross, so I've had my share of crashes / scares as well.

Wow! Thank goodness she's alright. Lucky she was wearing a helmet, eh?

I rolled a snow mobile only minutes after hitting the trails. Fixed her up and kept on riding. By the end of the day I was so sore that I could barely climb into the trcuk to go home.

Glad to hear everyone is ok.

She has been pretty sore for the past couple of days, but wow, that was scary.

I grew up riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, and so did she, but sometimes freak accidents happen. I've had my share and walked away. I'm just glad she walked away from that one.

Back in FL now, so we should be pretty safe!
