switching picks from light to heavy

well a few months ago I asked for some advice on my picking. I has having a lot of trouble with it, and a lot of you guys sugested I switch to a heavy pick, I was very reluctant at first because all I every used was thins. Well you guys were right, my picking has gotten a lot better, not good enough to post sound clips, but a lot better. Thanks guys. chef21

The longer you play with a thicker pick, the more familiar it will become. I had the same problem switching from thin to thick, but once you get as good as you were with a thin pick and beyond you'll know you've made the right choice. Are you using jazz 3's, if not that's the only pick I use and they are pretty sweet.

I keep hearing about jazz 3"s, i might have to pick some up. I was never very good with a thin pick either so I guess it's all better from here.

The new issue of Guitar One talks about how the Jazz III could possibly improve your playing. Check it out. (It's the new one with Eric Johnson holding a double neck SG on the front)
