Theres a hole in my roof

about five minutes ago water came pouring from the ceiling

I think it may be from the air condition

Or from the fire sprinklers
its all under control now though
but my ceiling is ruined.

Has anyone had this type of experience.

Re: Theres a hole in my roof

Our basement flooded with three inces of water in it. Insurance agent said "at least it didn't burn down" and I replied "I wish"

Re: Theres a hole in my roof

If it's from the fire sprinklers, you'll have to have the leaking sprinkler head replaced before it can be declared "all under control". Same for the air conditioner. They only leak when the condensate pan becomes clogged and overflows. you'll have to clear the clogged drain or it will leak again the next time it is used.

Re: Theres a hole in my roof

You know, beyond the obvious (concern for alecmm61), the first thing I thought when reading this thread is how many people share news (good or bad) with the Jemsite community. I had visions of the original poster writing his post while water was pouring from the ceiling, as if the first thing to do would be to let Jemsiters know about it.

Re: Theres a hole in my roof

I eat granola. I hug trees. I teach kids how to appreciate the beautiful world we inhabit. I play acoustic more than electric. I wear Crocs with socks in the wintertime and Chacos (the ones with the toe loop) in the summer.

You tell me.
