Wow, that was one hectic experience. Granted, there have always been tornadoes in my area, but not like there were yesterday. Very scary.

This thing went right over my house and actually touched down a few miles north of my house after it passed. Some say it became an EF4. The sky lit up with the green flashes of power lines being torn. I'm really lucky:

Another formed off in the distance, about three miles away I'd say. I tried to get a few shots of this with my camera, but from my angle, the exposure was really bad.

This one was near my dad's work place. Three people were killed in a warehouse about five hundred yards from his work place:

This was one was right across the street from where he parks.

Overturned car in the area:

These pictrues really don't do justice to the damage though. Hope everyone else who is affected by this storm is OK.

Re: Tornadoes

Man, that's some rough stuff. Glad that you and yours are ok. CNN said that 52 people have died so far from the storms in 4 states.

Re: Tornadoes

Wow! Glad you are okay.

Hey, don't apologize AT ALL for those photos. . . they are better than the ones I saw on the news this morning. In fact, if you conacted a media outlet, they might be interested in broadcasting/distributing them.

Re: Tornadoes

Those aren't my photos

The ones I took were just too dark and grainy. Can't really see anything.

Re: Tornadoes

Perhaps you should move closer to Middle Tennessee. The area from Memphis to East of Nashville seems to keep getting hit over and over with some regularity. Down in the Boro we hardly ever get more than wind and a bit of hail.

Glad you are surviving!

Re: Tornadoes

There were some crazy winds down here yesterday, but fortunately we don't get very many tornadoes.
