Short hair for me, since it's more practical from where I live.

Talking Re: The ultimate question: Long Hair or Short?!

Hi,

It's very simple, if you can't or won't take proper care of it, it's better to wear it short. When I saw Herman Li for the first time the first thing I thought is "He must have a hard time 'maintaining' his hair!!!". I nowadays never let my hair run down further than my shoulders. Else it becomes a drag to maintain.

Regards,

JP

Re: The ultimate question: Long Hair or Short?!

ive had long (very) and short (very) hair..... sometimes its good just to make a change !

I shave my head now to #3 and its very liberating -I dont have to spend and hour washing and drying my bloody hair anymore

Funny you mentioned it, I just shaved my head...and man is it wierd. I've never felt wind or water on my head before!

FWIW, I think I liked my head better with long hair, but this was a fun experience, and hey, it'll always grow back!

People with long hair, get a clue, it is lame. It is almost 2007, long hair looks lame, I used to have long hair (in 1991). There are so many cool styles of short hair, find what looks good on you and go with it. It's not the '70's or '80's. I think Vai even looks better with short hair now.

Vai and Petrucci looked 1000x cooler with long hair.

Re: The ultimate question: Long Hair or Short?!

I had long hair through high school and after (Note the RG 550 Still my baby and a little roughed up now).

I told myself I could always grow it back if I didn't like it short...stuck with keeping it short. If you chop your hairs off don't go to one of those cheap walk ins unless you know they're really good. Otherwise, go to a professional salon if you can. Unless you plan on the Satch look? Then save your money and have a friend do it. Good Luck!
