Very Old Corvette Pix

A friend just gave me a bunch of pix from the 70's that she took with a new camera.
Here is my 1976 Vette with T-Tops in British Racing Green with white pinstripes taken in the alley behind my music store in July 1978. Geesh - I remember it like yesterday. Wish I still had her.

Please forgive the 'groovy' threads...

Re: Very Old Corvette Pix

I would guess the same Andy since that was the most common. My friend had a similar one with a but with a 454 4 speed.

Re: Very Old Corvette Pix

How long did the big blocks last in the 'Vettes though?? I know it was a dirty word by '76 and most had gone but if i am correct Pontiac still offered their 455 in the Trans Am in '76 (for the last time??).

It was a 350 with 10:1 compression. I swapped out the duallies for cherry bombs too:^)

Re: Very Old Corvette Pix

10:1 comp? At least leaded gas was still available back then. She's probably be pinging like crazy unless you ran a higher octane gas nowadays.
