I always wanted to save some movies from video.google.com on my drive but didn't know how...

Here's how:

go to: http://dev2.traxio.net/projects/googlevideo/ and copy and paste the url (from video google) of the movie you want to download.

For example i wanted the buckethead vid from guitar one, which has the url:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...6&q=buckethead

copy and paste it into the Decode url browser then download it.

After you saved it onto your computer put .flv behind the name of the file and then download flv player from:

http://www.martijndevisser.com/2005/...r_updated.html

You can choose from the installer, stand-alone or sorce files (it's all there on the site).

Simply play it and enjoy!

In case anyone hasn't noticed, you seem to be able to download google vids now as long as you use their player to watch them with, which is what this thread was about originally.

thanks, I was able to download 2 videos and saved them as .avi's and then converted them so I could put them on my iPod.
