Well, Venting

Well i can honestly say the last fortnight has been the worst of my life.

about a fortnight ago, i attended the funeral of a close family friend who had died of cancer, he was a great bloke and it was awful to see him go, especially how hard it was for him towards the end.

Then last week my Gran got diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, unfortunatly theres nothing the doctors can do for her since she'd had a stroke a while back, she's too weak to survive any sort of therapy.

Then to top everything off, tonight i broke up with my girlfriend i'd been with for about 6 months. Its not a long time to some people, but it came as a bit of a suprise and it hurts.

I know its probably not the best place to post something like this, but i kinda needed a place to vent a bit, so sorry if any of my posts over the next few days seem a bit pesimistic and piss people off.

I'm so sorry Eco. Why is it that bad things always seem to come in threes?? I'm sending you a big HUG.

I'm really sorry for your pain, too. +1 on the big HUG. 6 months is a decent amount of time to spend with someone romantically. You wouldn't have gone out that many times with the girl if you didn't really like her.

Sorry to hear that Eco. All I can say is vent away mate. I had a similar experience a few years ago, I split up with my girlfriend (caught her out with another bloke), then my grandad was killed in a traffic accident just before Christmas, my dad died just after New Year and then just the day before my dad's funeral, the silly cow rings me up and tells me she's pregnant with twins and she's having an abortion!!! I was well pissed and really not a nice person to be around for several months.
Anyways, don't let things get to you too much mate and look after yourself.

Sorry to hear that man.

Luckily all my mates kinda understand and let me get away with being a dick for a while otherwise i'd probably have more to complain about.

Yeh good friends are really important in bad times. My mates did let me get away with a bit, but ultimately gave me the kick up the arse to get out of the slump I was in.

Thanks FN, make that a vodka redbull please

It's always best you get everything off your chest man, also taking care of yourself is very important to, and confide in good friends who you can rely on. Close friends can be really important when your feeling low.

Also, get ya self up the road to my house and you can have a jam on my 10th Hows that sound ey.

Take care, I hope you start feeling better soon mate.

All the best Eco, must be really difficult, mate. Make sure you look after yourself so that you handle things as best as possible. You're in the eye of the storm, mate.
