Red face Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

kids got a ton, wife and i don't really exchange anymore...she gets what she wants, and vice versa. However she went out and bought, for me, guitar hero III for wii, and i was offended. I know all those songs, and the ones I don't know I don't want to know. Why would she buy that for a musician, it didn't make any sense? She told me about it before Christmas, so we wrapped it, gave it to my 9 year old who loves it. I'm afraid now he'll never want to learn real guitar because this game makes it so easy to feel cool. Am I just being a ROYAL A-HOLE or what. She says that it will work on his timing but they time things differently, for a game, not real guitar. So confused and such a jerk...

It's just a game and a lot of people love it. The only problem is that if you spend hours playing that guitar hero you could have been playing real guitar and learning something. Bet hey it's just a game and it's fun to play.
