I just recently got into listening to Kim Mitchel and Max Webster.
I never had an idea Canada had such awesome bands aside from Rush.

'Vorel' from the forthcoming Russian Circles album 'Guidance'. Can't wait for that to drop!!

If you dig instrumental epic riff-laden rock then this might be your bag.

I forgot Jeff Healey was Canadian. Great musician!

I've also been listening to Streetheart.
And of course how could I forget Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush?

Frank was my hero 35 years ago! I got fired from a job because I had 3rd row tix in Norman, OK and I wouldn't miss the show to go on the road with the "job" I gave 3 months notice I would have to be in Norman on that date. Screw em, GREAT SHOW!

The Quick Silver Meat Dream is my go-to album. I'm looking forward to the 20th anniversary of Scenery and Fish show in October.

Big Wreck is also up there, especially the"In Loving Memory Of" album. "Ghosts" also is solid from front to back.

My mom (who's name is Angela) was serenaded by Kenny Shields once. We were staying in a motel room at a ball tournament (my brother played ball with Kenny's nephew). She got plastered the night before and had a wicked hangover the next morning and he sang "Angie" by the Stones to her through the motel room window. Good times...
