When you went off to college. . .

What did you do with all the stuff in your room? All your posters, magazine clippings, pictures, ect. . .and all the junk in your closet, on the floor, everywhere.

What did you do with it all?

Did you pack it all up in boxes and stick it in the parents attic? or did you throw/sell it all away?

Just curious, since I'll be going to college next year, and I am unsure of what to do with all the lovely things I've collected for the past 18 years.

Re: When you went off to college. . .

My parents moved out of the country when I moved to college (we lived in Germany at the time - they moved to Greece, I moved to Canada) so I had no choice other than pack up as much stuff as I could - take some with me, throw some out, store some, and have my parents take some with me...

When I joined the Navy I left the majority of my stuff at home and it's still there...including my halfstack . I actually really doubt I'll ever move it all until I get a house of my own. So sometime in the not-too-distant future.

not tired of my musician taste... but my stuff... I still got the cd collection, something from star wars lol... my walls were painted whith drawings from comics and band names...and now is all blank. I changed the pictures for books...my room looks like a library. I guess that is my college influence...

I'm 36 and most of it is still in my room in my mom's house. I gave some of the Record albums to my fiancee's daughter because she was curious.

In college, if you have more stuff than can fit in your car, you have too much. If you don't have a car.... um....
