Question Why are only few solid body playing girls outside ?

I often ask me, why only a few girls are playing solid body guitar. As a famous player i only remember Jennifer Batton. I think they have the same preconditions like men. The ratio is also to see here on jemsite. How many girls are here in the forum?
What do you think is the reason for that fact ?

Nah I know plenty who play solid bodies. They aren't necessarily well know but each has their preferences just like you or I. Personally I like solid, semi-hollow and hollow equally well. It's all a matter of where I'm applying said guitars. My theory for most of the singer/songwriter types going for the bigger boxes is that it has more of an acoustic feel.

I love to fondle their knobs and tweak that little switch down there too.
In fact, I've made it a goal in my life to be THE BEST at manipulating that little switch.
My favorite is that G string. I like to take them off and put new ones on. G strings look exotic on an Ebony neck, don't you think? Blonde necks are pretty too. I just like 'em all!

:^)

Ay, now I feel bad. I'm sorry I was just joking around. I grew up with all boys so my sense of humor is a little warped, but I'm really a very good girl. REALLY. Sorry for the lame humor. And now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I've heard that there are 3 of us that post regularly: IbanezGirl, FloridaNative, and myself. I would like to see more girls playing, too. I'm fairly new to the electric guitar, but I am in awe of IbanezGirl's level of expertiese.
