Yes I read that but I heard it had more to do with Schaller was late with the delivery and that he get's the Gotoh cheaper, of course this is just internet rumour and is probably 99% untrue. If Suhr had to take apart every single OFR and put it together to fit the 12" radius fretboard I could understand why that's a pain.

Re: Drip Suhrs

I think they look fine, but if I was ordering a Suhr for myself I'd go with a woodgrain top.

Re: Drip Suhrs

I just found this on the Suhr site. It's another kind of rootbeer drip.

Yeah, I've heard that story too. I think it's actually true. But I've also read on the Suhr site that they think the Gotoh is the best double locking system on the market at the moment. They describe it as "the ultimate Floyd". Also, they said that the quality of the OFR's parts has been declining over the years. That's interesting, isn't it?

I don't believe that the Gotoh is better then the Edge Pro or Edge Zero

I missed this one earlier.

Blue drip metallic

It's cool that every drip comes out a bit different.

Re: Drip Suhrs

Like the Tyler ones, I think they're great, but not a patch on the Ibanez swirls. Overall I prefer the Tyler finishs though.

I like them.

I can't reconcile myself with the lumpy "modern" bodyshape though

Re: Drip Suhrs

Many people said the same thing about the shape. But after a while they really started digging the Modern. Maybe it will grow on you too!

I much prefer the Standard, and I can do without the 2 frets. Only another £2k required in the gear fund
